CON 090-1: Contracting Overview of the FAR This course covers module 1 of CON 090: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Fundamentals, including the identification of the basic principles of federal government contracting, access to online resources (FAR, DFARS, and DFARS PGI), and the location, citation, and interpretation of information in the FAR and DFARS. | October 2-5, 2012 |
CON 090-2: Contract Planning in the FAR This course covers module 2 of CON 090: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Fundamentals, including acquisition planning, market research, describing agency needs, and the preference for the acquisition of commercial and non-developmental items. It is recommended, but not required, that CON 090-1 is taken first. | November 12-16, 2012 |
CON 090-3: Contract Formation in the FAR This course covers module 3 of CON 090: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Fundamentals, including the application of the relevant rules of FAR Part 13 and DFARS Part 213 to make an appropriate contracting decision. It is recommended, but not required, that CON 090-1 and CON 090-2 are taken first. | December 10-14, 2012 |
CON 090-4: Contract Administration in the FAR This course covers module 4 of CON 090: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Fundamentals, including the various aspects of contract management to include contract modifications and contract closeout.
