The General Services Administration’s office of citizen services and innovative technologies has developed a guide for agencies looking to procure mobile applications, responsively-designed websites, mobile program testing or mobile developer services.
The new Wiki, posted through HowTo.gov, provides sample language for structuring a statement of work for a variety of customer and external-facing mobile products.
The resource is a byproduct of work done as part of the recently-piloted contracting tool RFP-EZ; however, agencies need not wait for RFP-EZ to take advantage of GSA’s guide. The SOW samples and tips can be applied to procurements using any government acquisition portal, such as Federal Business Opportunities.
