The Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI) is offering a free acquisition webinar on the subject of Debriefings (FAR 15.505), and is opening the webinar to both government contracting officials and industry representatives.
Entitled “Lifting the Curtain – Debriefings,” this webinar will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00pm (EDT) on FAI’s Training Webcast Channel.
Webinar Description: Have you ever wondered how the Federal contracting process looks from the “other side”? Government contracting professionals probably think that their industry counterparts keep asking the same questions and just don’t understand the answers they are providing. Likewise, industry representatives probably think that Federal contracting professionals don’t understand the private sector and its needs. Join this Acquisition Seminar where we uncover and share experiences and thoughts of the Federal contracting process from both government and industry perspectives. During this seminar, we will conduct mock debriefing engagements between real industry and government procurement professionals to provide a first-hand look of the Federal contracting process from both sides. The mock debriefings presented during this seminar will shed light on both parties’ perspectives, and help you better understand your business partners. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to look behind the closed doors of debriefings and learn what the “other side” is really thinking!
